About

Thirty-five years turning emerging technology into decisions a business can act on.

I'm Skip Vanderburg — technology executive, founder, and fractional AI strategy advisor to leadership teams. I've built the thing, sold the thing, and sat in the room when the board asked whether it was worth the money.

The short version

I've spent my career on both sides of the table

I started as an engineer, building and leading development teams at The Coca-Cola Company. That foundation still shapes how I work: I have a low tolerance for strategy that can't survive contact with the people who have to build it.

From there I moved into enterprise software — executive technology and innovation roles at Siebel Systems and Mercury — working at the intersection of business leadership and technology delivery across CRM, application performance, and large-scale adoption. Then into consulting, as Partner and Chief Innovation Officer for DESS at Tata Consultancy Services, leading customer-experience innovation, design, and emerging technology for enterprise clients, and later as Head of Design at Brillio Design Studio, where I positioned design as an instrument for shaping digital solutions rather than decorating them.

In 2019 I went and built the thing myself. Prioriti AI — the company I founded and lead — is an enterprise AI company focused on agentic decision intelligence and generative prioritization. The premise is simple and, I think, still under-appreciated: the constraint in most enterprises isn't AI capability. It's the small number of consequential decisions that never get made clearly enough, fast enough, or with enough evidence behind them.

Today I do both. I run Prioriti AI, and I work with executive teams as a fractional AI strategy advisor — shaping AI roadmaps, governance, and portfolio decisions without the overhead of a full-time hire. What I bring to that room is an unusual combination: AI vision, enterprise architecture, product and experience design, innovation leadership, and the ability to explain any of it to a board without a translator.

The leadership imperative isn't to start with technology. It's to start with the decisions that move the business — and then build the AI capability that makes those decisions faster, clearer, and defensible.

Perspective

Three seats, and why it matters

Most AI advice comes from one vantage point. The useful judgment tends to sit where they overlap.

THE OPERATOR

I've had to ship it

Engineering leadership at Coca-Cola and executive roles inside Siebel and Mercury. I know what a roadmap costs when someone actually has to build against it.

THE CONSULTANT

I've had to sell it upward

Partner and Chief Innovation Officer at TCS; Head of Design at Brillio. Years spent turning technical possibility into an executive narrative that survives the budget conversation.

THE FOUNDER

I've had to bet on it

Founder and CEO of Prioriti AI, building agentic decision intelligence with my own capital and reputation on the line. It changes how carefully you rank things.

What I'm building

Prioriti AI

Agentic decision intelligence, in production rather than in theory

Prioriti AI moves AI out of experimentation and into repeatable executive decision workflows. The platform brings together multiple AI perspectives, real-time enterprise data, and structured decision frameworks — RICE, MoSCoW, Eisenhower, scenario planning, risk assessment, and resource optimization — so prioritization can be defended line by line rather than asserted.
